Sale and Leaseback by Oakmont Senior Living of Two Facilities to HCP, Inc.

On June 2, 2014 The Nathanson Group’s client, Oakmont Senior Living, LLC, recently completed a sale/leaseback transaction with HCP, Inc. (NYSE: HCP) involving two residential care facilities located Chino Hills and Roseville, California for a total acquisition price of $88 million. Investors in the Chino Hills facility were given the option of taking units in a DownREIT formed by HCP in lieu of cash. The Nathanson Group represented OSL in the drafting and negotiation of the acquisition and lease documents with HCP.
