Sale and Lease Transaction by National Health Investors

On June 1, 2014, National Health Investors, Inc. (NYSE: NHI) acquired a 56 unit/72 bed residential care facility in Sacramento, California, for a purchase price of $11,100,000, and concurrently leased it to Chancellor Healthcare of Windsor, California. The Nathanson Group served as NHI’s counsel on both the purchase and lease transactions as well as assisting Chancellor with the drafting and negotiation of the Operations Transfer Agreement and interim operating agreements that will remain in effect until Chancellor is licensed to operate the facility.
