Who We Are
The Nathanson Group PLLC was founded in January 1993 by Randi S. Nathanson with the goal of developing aÂ boutique transactional health care law firm that would know its clients well, provide its clients with the highest quality legal services and do so with a high degree of efficiency. Although our client base and our staff have grown since then, our goals remain unchanged. As a result, today the attorneys and staff at the firm bring together their years of real estate and transactional experience to meet the needs of our clients in accordance with the firm’s original goals.
The Nathanson Group represents clients who are primarily involved in the ownership, operation and management of long term care, assisted living and senior housing facilities located throughout the United States. However, our clients haveÂ also included physicians, home health agencies and rehabilitation therapy companies. The representation of these clients involves handling diverse real property and business transactions, including financing and refinancing transactions with a variety of institutional and conduit lenders.
Following the completion of a transaction, The Nathanson Group often continues the representation of our clients by assisting them with issues that arise in the daily operation of their facilities and businesses. In this area of representation, the firm reviews management agreements, leases and other pertinent legal documentation, gives, or works with local counsel to give, advice on issues relating to condemnation, land use, zoning and title matters and, upon request, monitors our clients’ litigation.
Most recently The Nathanson Group launchedÂ a new business line—Â Approvalign® — which focuses on assisting clients with securing the regulatory (“CHOW”) approvals needed to close a transaction (www.approvalign.com).
